In this regard, Minister Sajjan announced international assistance of $19.5 million for 4 projects. Projects supported by this investment :

  • $4 million to support post-disaster rehabilitation efforts in earthquake-affected areas
  • $10 million to strengthen the security sector

"We must continue to work together to build greater resilience and restore peace and prosperity in Haiti for stronger, safer and healthier communities there," said Minister Harjit S. Sajjan.
