On Monday, February 28, 2022, Prime Minister ai Ariel Henry left the country, on his first trip abroad in 7 months to San Pedro, Belize to participate, on March 1st and 2nd, in the 33rd Meeting Meeting of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (Caricom).

In addition, Ariel Henry will attend, on March 3rd, the 4th Summit of Leaders of Caricom and the Central American Integration System (SICA).

The Haitian crisis will be on the agenda as well as other topics of regional and global interest such as post-Covid economic recovery, food security and climate change.

On the sidelines of these meetings, Prime Minister Henry accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Jean Victor Généus, will meet with their counterparts from various countries in the region and several Caricom officials.

In the absence of the Prime Minister, the interim will be provided in Haiti by Michel Patrick Boisvert the Minister of Economy and Finance

Ariel Henry will be back home on Thursday, March 3rd, 2022.
