Haitian students in Ukraine evacuated

On the sidelines of the 33rd Intersessional Meeting of Heads of Government of Caricom, the Haitian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jean Victor Généus, announced that the Haitian students who were in Ukraine have been evacuated to Slovakia.

Tuesday, March 1st, in Torcelles (commune of Tabarre), Police Commissioner Robert Plaisimond has been shot dead near his home by unidentified armed individuals who fled in the commissioner's car with his service weapon.
