Haiti - Insecurity : Message from former President Michel Martelly (VIDEO)

Friday, March 25, 2022, former President Michel Martelly concerned about the growing insecurity that paralyzes the country more every day, broke his silence to send a message to the population in a short video message

A broad political consensus is the best solution to restore security, believes Martelly and to this end, he encourages all actors in national life to surpass themselves in order to achieve a frank dialogue.

He says he is aware of the seriousness of the situation of Haitians who can no longer travel without fear in their own country, like that of Haitians who risk their lives to flee Haiti...

Martelly is however not pessimistic, he is convinced that if the Haitians decide to put an end to the insecurity, the problem will be solved. He recalls that without security there is no stability, without stability there is no investment and without investment there is no development.
