Haiti - Digicel : Users of «Mon cash» can now receive international transfers on their phone
In a note the Digicel informs that users of the Mon cash service can now receive international transfers on their phone in complete safety from countries such as : the United States, Chile, Brazil, Canada, France, among others...

This operation is possible thanks to a partnership with Prism Transfer, a company specialized in international money transfers. People living abroad can send transfers to relatives with a MonCash account via the following companies: RIA, Remitly, WorldRemit, Boss Revolution (US), Sharemoney (US), TapTap (US), SendWave (US) ), Girofacil (CH), Uno Money Transfers (CHI), More Money (CH & BR) and Orange Money.

"By allowing MonCash users to receive international money transfers directly to their account, we aim to create a more inclusive environment so that the recipient can use the funds received in real time and without moving" explained Nathaelle Chavenet, Director of MonCash.

To receive money from abroad, each MonCash user must have an expanded account and agree to receive funds in their wallet. To accept, the user must dial the code *202# then select option 6 or connect to the MonCash application. To become the holder of an extended account (Full Wallet), the customer must go to the nearest Digicel store in order to complete the formalities required by the regulator (CODETEL).

For the launch, any user who receives an international money transfer will also get 200 Gourdes in mobile recharge available on their promotional account.
