Armed clashes, which have already caused several deaths and injuries among belligerents, but also among innocent civilians according to testimonies. The residents of Santo, Shada, Croix-des-Missions, Butte Boyer, "Anba Mapou", "Dèyè simityè" find themselves in spite of themselves at the heart of these fights and live in terror, the men of "400 Mawozo" try to regain control of these neighborhoods, which they had lost control in 2018 to the benefit of "Chen Mechan" Automatic gunfire was heard throughout the day. Commercial activities are completely paralyzed as well as traffic due to barricades erected on several roads. Weapons and ammunition do not seem to be lacking on either side... According to local residents, on Monday the area called Butte-Boyer would again be under the control of "400 mawozo", however, their attempt to cross the Croix-des-Missions bridge failed and was repelled by the men of "Chen Mechan". Several inhabitants have started to flee the combat zone, the others remain locked up in their homes, several houses have been burned... It seems that the trigger for this conflict between gangs, in addition to the reconquest of territories conquered by the rival gang, would be the decision of "400 Mawozo", to install a Chief in Butte Boyer on the territory of "Chen Mechan", a decision considered by the rival gang as a provocation and reopened hostilities.
