However, it is worth remembering that a few days ago the Government handed over 1.3 billion Gourdes to the oil companies, a partial amount of a debt of the State, which should make another payment of its debt shortly, so the oil companies can have enough cash to order fuel... this being more likely the cause of the delays... Finally, the Ministry ensures that the Government remains attentive to the evolution of the international market in the context of the Ukraine-Russia conflict and ensures, through the Ministry of Commerce and its agents in the field, the management of stocks to avoid speculations.
