Haiti - Irene : Irene moves away, sigh of relief 24/08/2011 08:09:28 For its part the National Meteorological Centre (CNM) indicates that the country is now to the level orange and that the rainfall that accompany Irene will decrease progressively as the system moves away of the coast North of Haiti. Thus, it is expected to dump 50 to 100 millimeters of rain in the plains but with a surplus of precipitation on the mountainous terrain of the northern regions and centre of Haiti today.
