At least one worker was seriously injured by bullets inside the SHODECOSA industrial park (near the OFATMA Hospital). In addition, two food vendors were injured by bullets in front of the "Haiti Premier Apparel S.A." factory (airport road).

Dept. Center : Orphanages dramatic situation

Me Peterson Saint-Fleur, Coordinator of the office of the Institute of Social Welfare and Research (IBESR) in the Center department, makes a worrying assessment of the situation of orphanages. Italy : The University "Di Casino" opens to Haitians

Monday, May 2nd, Emmanuel Charles, the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of Haiti in Italy, signed an agreement for a renewable period of five years with the University "Di Casino". This agreement will allow Haitian students to integrate this University. Haiti is the 31st country to integrate Di Casino University.

Sports, cooperation with Mexico

Monday, May 2, 2022, as part of the process of reviving cooperation between Haiti and Mexico in the field of youth and sports, Me Jean Tholbert Alexis, Chief of Staff of the Minister of Youth and Sports Raymonde Rival, met the new Ambassador of Mexico accredited to Haiti, Daniel Camara Avalos. The "Generation of young community leaders" project for the benefit of young people from disadvantaged neighborhoods was at the center of the discussions.
