Swimming : 2 medals for Davidson Vincent
In swimming Davidson Vincent (20), the only representative of Haiti, won 2 bronze medals in the 50m and 100m freestyle in Puerto Rico during the international qualifying tournament for Fukuoka (Japan). It should also be remembered that Émilie and Raphaël Grand'Pierre have qualified for the world swimming championship which will take place in Budapest (Hungary) from June 18 to July 3.
Next budget nearly 200 billion
The amount of the new budget in preparation by the Government, would amount to nearly 200 billion Gourdes according to Michel Patrick Boisver the Minister of Economy and Finance. Justice : 20 gaming rooms closed
On Tuesday May 10 and Wednesday May 11, 2022, around twenty gaming rooms that were operating illegally and clandestinely were closed and sealed by the Haitian State Lottery (LEH). These companies are now forced to regularize their situation with the LEH, the only regulatory body for gambling in Haiti.
NOTICE French Guiana : Mobile Consulate Mobile Service
The Consulate of Haiti in French Guiana advises that Consultat Mobile services (passport and other documents) will be offered in Kourou exceptionally on the 4th Saturday of this month, instead of the 3rd usually, due to the unavailability of the premises made available of the Consular Post by the Town Hall. The Consulate of Haiti in Guyana appeals to the collaboration and understanding of all its users for the improvement of these "permanences", useful to the Haitian community.
Signature of a Memorandum of Understanding
This Thursday will be held a signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the Agency for Investment and Business Development (AIDE) with a view to developing activities of interest for the purpose of promoting and facilitating the development of trade and industry.
