The Government of the Republic, through the Prime Minister a.i. Ariel Henry, has set up a social program to alleviate the misery of the poorest suffering from precariousness and hunger, the "Multi-sector program for appeasement and social of reintegration vulnerable groups".

Social programs to alleviate the misery of the poorest suffering from precariousness and hunger will cost 3 billion gourdes in the 2021-2022 budget. Activities are coordinated by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor of the Prime Minister under the direct supervision of the Prime Minister.

As part of this social program, the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) will receive part of this fund to continue food promotion activities. FAES will operate, without interruption, 300 community restaurants across the country. 100,000 people will receive a hot meal every day. It will distribute 100,000 solidarity baskets each month.

The Ministry of Public Works, Transport and Communications and the Ministry of the Environment will create more than 90,000 temporary jobs in cities in 3 months.

The Ministry of Agriculture will have to intervene in rural areas where at least 45,000 farmers will benefit from adequate support to enable them to strengthen their activities.

And finally the Ministry of National Education will distribute 25,000 school vouchers as part of the program on the occasion of the start of the school year for the 2022-2023 school year. The program plans to purchase 50 additional buses to increase the fleet of the "Diyite" company.
