Haiti - FLASH : Cardinal Langlois victim of a terrible accident, miraculously comes out alive 09/06/2022 06:31:54
According to the information available, Cardinal Langlois will suffer from multiple fractures. The Permanent Secretariat of the Episcopal Conference of Haiti (CEH), reassured in a note "[...] He has fractured limbs, but his life as well as that of the driver, who accompanied him, are not in danger." The CEH invites priests and lay faithful to pray for his healing and his speedy recovery. Cardinal Chibly Langlois is currently in the Ste Croix de Léogâne hospital according to the Bishop of Nippes Pierre André Mgr Pierre André Dumas. Acting Prime Minister Ariel Henry reacted on his Twitter account, "I wish a speedy recovery to Cardinal Chibly Langlois, victim, this Wednesday, of a terrible accident on the National #2.
