The US Guard Coast vessel Vigilant intercepted a dangerously overloaded Haitian sailboat on Wednesday, about 20 miles northwest of Île de la Tortue.
Kidnapping of former Artibonite DD
Heavily armed men kidnapped, on the evening of June 21, 2022 around 10:00 p.m., Jean Osner Amisial, the former Departmental Delegate (DD) of Artibonite. According to a police source, an individual was arrested and two pickups seized by agents of the National Police of Haiti (PNH)

Agriculture : final acceptance of 4 Multi-Service Centers
The Coordination of the South Response Project proceeded during the month of June 2022 to the final acceptance of 4 Multi Services Centers (CMS) of Mineur, Cavaillon, Formond and Miserne, for the benefit of four Farmers' Associations. These Centers will allow the efficient development of activities in the rice sector, such as the production of seeds, the installation of agricultural machinery for soil preparation, the management of the storage of equipment and spare parts and the installation of a mill for rice husking and drying.
