Haiti - Justice : Update on the cases Emile Giordani and Guiteau Toussaint
Sonel Jean François, the Commissioner of the Government yesterday provided an update on the case of the notary Emile Giordani and that of the former President of the Board of Directors of the Banque Nationale de Credit (BNC), Guiteau Toussaint.
In the case of notary Emile Giordani found dead Saturday, August 27 in a ravine at the Canape Vert after being kidnapped on August 26, Sonel Jean Francois says indicates that no one was arrested, but there are tracks "The investigation into the death of the notary Giordani began since Saturday when we discovered the body in a ravine, the observation was made, there are people who have been interviewed, samples of fingerprints have been done, then we we went to the notary who has been sacked, now we do research to see how we can catch the perpetrators and co-authors of this crime. We also found the presence of a car, a BMW, according to information that relatives of a notary gave us this is the car of the notary, it is in the trunk of this car they put the notary after the kidnapping [...] no one was arrested so far, we are currently on some tracks, but so far no one has been apprehended [...]"
