4 ONA employees released

On Wednesday the four ONA employees kidnapped on July 5 https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-37083-icihaiti-ona-3-inspectors-and-a-driver-kidnapped.html were released by their captors against ransom, after being sequestered for 9 days.

Port-de-Paix : 3rd ammunition seizure

On Wednesday, customs officers in Port-de-Paix seized on board the boat "La Tempérance" a barrel full of ammunition. This is the 3rd seizure of ammunition in Port-de-Paix in two weeks

The CNE qualifies RNDDH's allegations as false

Kington Louis, the head of the National Equipment Center (CNE) qualifies as false the allegations of the National Network for the Defense of Human Rights (RNDDH) which affirms that the heavy machines used by the bandits to destroy the houses in Cité-Soleil are the property and provided by CNE, which Kington Louis asserted FALSE, however, he acknowledges that CNE heavy machinery was stolen and its operator killed last Friday.

Blood bank project for police officers

The National Union of Haitian Police Officers (SYNAPOHA) has launched a project to provide officers with their own blood bank.

Relocation of the Courthouse

In a note dated July 11, the Professional Association of Magistrates (APM), the National Association of Haitian Magistrates (ANAMAH) and the National Network of Haitian Magistrates (RENAMAH) state that they support the proposals of the Office for the Protection of citizen (OPC), with a view to relocating the courthouse. "This position expressed by the Office is in line with our incessant request made to the Government for a very long time, namely the relocation of the Court of First Instance of Port-au-Prince."
