Haiti - Diaspora : 16th edition of the Festival «Haïti en Folie 2022» (Program) 19/07/2022 11:09:00
To celebrate its great return to Parc Lafontaine since the pandemic, the festival will present more than 150 artists this year. The team hits hard with firsts by welcoming: Legendary Innu poet and documentary filmmaker Joséphine Bacon; famous singer-songwriter Corneille with guest artists of Haitian origin, and the show in Creole BINGO NIGHT by popular Haitian comedian Kako will be presented at Cabaret La Tulipe, in addition to welcoming a record number of female DJs at the Jardins Gamelin, namely DJ Kidcrayola, DJ Special K and DJ Kayssy. Another novelty this year: a Midi-Troubadour concert! Also, several essentials are back such as Dany Laferrière, BélO, DJ Windows 98 (Win Butler from Arcade Fire) & Paul Beaubrun, Wesli, Rodney Saint-Éloi... and for the first time on the main stage: Rebecca Jean, Yama Laurent, Raccoon, Magdala, Kelly Krow, Leïla Lanova, Bel & Quinn... without forgetting the Rara Festival parade with Rara Jazz and many others...
