"My presence today demonstrates the importance I place on breastfeeding. May our dear mothers here and in the diaspora be assured of our determination to create an environment conducive to breastfeeding.é

"[...] I would like to encourage all the efforts undertaken for several years by hospitals, service providers and the staff of health institutions. Persevere on this path.

"[...] To all the other sectors of the Government, I ask to line up around the Ministry of Public Health, to carry out this true and noble combat : the promotion of breast-feeding in your respective circles for the harmonious development of our children."
