In an official press release dated August 26, 2022, the Ministry of National Education announces that the start of the school year for the 2022-2023 academic year initially scheduled for Monday September 5, 2022 has been postponed to Monday October 3rd, 2022.

"Following the decisions adopted by the Council of Government on Friday August 26, 2022, relating, among other things, to the start of the school year, the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP) brings to the attention of the public in general and the educational community in particular that the start of the school year for the 2022-2023 academic year is now set for Monday, October 3rd, 2022.

The MENFP will soon publish the new 2022-2023 school calendar with the new key dates to remember for the new academic year.

The MENFP takes the opportunity to reassure teachers, parents and school principals that the number of regulatory class days will be respected.
