Haiti - Economy : The Investment Facilitation Center is getting stronger
The Investment Facilitation Center informs that it is now part of the International Network of Francophone Investment Promotion Agencies (RIAFPI).

Indeed, following the participation last June, of Marie Fatima Léonne C. Prophète, the Director General of CFI, at the 5th annual conference of the International Network of Francophone Investment Promotion Agencies (RIAFPI), in Kinshasa (Democratic Republic of Congo ), the CFI has seen fit to join this network.

Let's recall that the RIAFPI, created in March 2014, aims to generate a framework for cooperation, consultation, exchange of information and expertise between French-speaking investment promotion agencies, members of the network. It is a platform for exchanging experiences, aimed at increasing the ability to attract Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) in favor of a greater involvement of French-speaking countries in the global economy.

The RIAFPI for mission in others :

  • Facilitate access to funding sources available in the French-speaking world;
  • Assist members in coordinating all investment-related activities in their different countries;
  • Share the experiences gained in attracting FDI;
  • Facilitate access to competent organizations for capacity building of members;
  • Assist members in their request for funding from bilateral and multilateral funding organizations.

With this membership, the CFI takes another step towards its goal of becoming a promotion agency of international standard, to better attract Foreign Direct Investments in Haiti.
