The Prime Minister-designate, Dr. Garry Conille, presented Thursday, the documents required by the Constitution to the Office of the lower house, which for its part forwarded Friday these elements to the Special Commission in charge of analyzing the documents of the candidate for Prime Minister.

The Deputy Abel Descolines [Mirebalais/Boucan Carré - LAVNI] member of this Commission confirmed the delivery of these documents.

"...I confirm that the Special Commission received from the Bureau of the Chamber of Deputies, a set of documents that the Commission had requested to the Prime Minister designate, Mr. Garry Conille.

At the level of the Commission we took cognizance of these documents formally, officially. From Monday, we will define a working methodology, there are several subcommission which will visit various institutions, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Directorate General of Taxes, the Central Directorate of Judicial Police, so that we check the authenticity of these documents. Then we will have to meet with consultants invited to work on the veracity of the documents, but also on a series of sensibilities that eventually may be raised.

For now, we confirm that we have all the documents that the Comission asked to the Prime Minister designate, of course if necessary, if we need to seek further information, we will inform the press and Prime Minister-designate through the Bureau of the Chamber of Deputies.

We requested at the level of the Commission, a twenty documents to the Prime Minister-designate, in fact, in the submission that he made in the Parliament, including to the Office of the Chamber of Deputies, he submitted 26 documents, so he went beyond what the Commission asked.

We can not list all the documents [...] but they are documents that respond mostly to what is stipulated in Article 157 of the Constitution and the laws of the Republic."
