The President Michel Martelly must leave Haiti, Sunday, Sept. 18, at the head of a large delegation (1) for the U.S. to participate in the general debates (September 21 to 27) of the 66th UN General Assembly, which opened in New York on September 13. A debate on Haiti is scheduled Friday morning in the Security Council.

On the agenda of the 66th Ordinary Session: Financing of the United Nations Mission for Stabilization in Haiti and the situation of democracy and human rights in Haiti. The President Martelly will intervene in the tribune of the UN to present the situation of Haiti to other member countries.

Carlos Morales Troncoso, Minister of Foreign Affairs, indicated that he will meet Monday the Haitian Head of State, at a meeting with donor countries "We will attend a breakfast meeting next Monday, which will host the President Martelly, and where the Ministers for Foreign Affairs of Haiti donor countries were invited."
