Haiti - FLASH : Earthquake off Jérémie

Yesterday Wednesday, Secember 28, 2022 at 11:19 and 49 seconds in the evening, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.20 on the Richter scale was recorded in Haiti off Jérémie (Dept. Grand'Anse)
The epicenter was located at 18.84 degrees north latitude and 74.14 degrees west longitude, i.e. at sea 23 km north of Jérémie (Dept. Grand'Anse), 90 km south-west of the island of Gonâve (West Dept), 120 km northwest of Miragoâne (Dept. Nippes) and 195 km northwest of Port-au-Prince (West Dept), at a depth of 5 km.
No loss of life or damage has been reported so far by the Civil Protection in relation to this new earthquake...
