480 new teachers
As part of the ongoing secondary reform, the Ministry of National Education has just hired 480 new young trainee teachers who have just completed their higher education cycles from three entities of the State University of Haiti (350 young teachers from the École Normale Supérieure, 50 from the Faculty of Applied Linguistics and 80 from the Higher Institute for Studies and Research in the Social Sciences). They will be distributed in various public schools across the country to provide courses related to the renovated secondary.
