Haiti - UEH : Youbenson Michel, Winner of the 2022 Monferrier Dorval Excellence Award 21/02/2023 10:40:22 The three dissertations evaluated 1 from the Faculty of Human Sciences and 2 from the Faculty of Law and Economics (FDSE) by the Scientific Council of the UEH were judged on the basis of: - scientific characteristics of the subject (originality, innovative character, depth, relevance); - the development of the subject of study (Issue, clarity of the general objective, clarity of the specific objective, clarity of the assumptions); - methodology (Clarity of methodology, sufficiency of methodology); - the bibliography; - the development of the subject of the study (Presentation and interpretation of study results, discussion of study results, conclusion and research perspectives); - of shape (Respect for writing standards (scientific vocabulary, appropriate syntax, spelling). The Monferrier Dorval Prize comes with a certificate and a check from the Rectorate of the UEH. The Ambassador of France in Haiti Fabrice Mauriès participated Friday in the ceremony of the Prix Monferier Dorval organized by the State University of Haiti with the financial support of the Embassy of France in Haiti. Then he praised Me Monferrier Dorval "[...] this rigorous jurist, this honest and competent lawyer and this integral patriot, our unforgettable Bâtonnier, Me Monferrier Dorval who fell under the conditions that we know [...]" and concluded with his warmest congratulations to the participants in this competition, "[...] especially to the winner Youbenson Michel of the Faculty of Human Sciences who was able to convince the Selection Jury of the quality and superiority of his work."
