Haiti - 2023 World Cup : Our Grenadières in Turkey, 2 important friendly matches
The Haitian women's selection of senior Grenadières will carry out its first preparation course between April 3 and 11, 2023, in Antalya (± 500 km by road from the capital Ankara), a city in southwestern Turkey, to the opportunity for a first training camp for the 9th edition of the FIFA Women's World Cup Australia / New Zealand 2023 (July 20 to August 20, 2023)

During this course, our Grenadières will play two friendly matches against selections which are also preparing like Haiti for the Women's World Cup.

On April 7, our brave Grenadières, 55th in the world in the FIFA rankings, will play their first match against the "super hawks" of Nigeria (45th), one of the best women's teams in Africa, while in the second match they will face the " Canaleras” from Panama (57th), also passed through the qualifying play-offs like Haiti, to qualify for this world.

The list of players selected by coach Delépine for this meeting in Turkey will be published shortly.

This first training camp comes at the right time for the French coach Nicolas Delépine who demanded preparation matches to get his team to play in order to improve his game and develop automatisms between the players. Nicolas Delépine will face his counterparts, Randy Waldrum (USA) from the Nigerian team and Ignacio Quintana (Italy) at the helm of Panama.

Haiti will find itself at the World Cup in Group D with very strong opponents like England, Denmark and the Republic of China.

Haiti World Cup match schedule:
Haiti vs England July 22, 2023 at Brisbane Stadium (Brisbane, Australia)
Haiti vs China July 28, 2023 at Hindmarsh Stadium (Adelaide, Australia)
