Haiti - FLASH : Earthquake of 4.2 near Abricot (Grand'Anse)
This Sunday, June 4th, 2023 at 4:06 and 29 seconds in the afternoon, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.2 on the Richter scale was recorded in Haiti near Abricot (Dept. of Grand'Anse)

The epicenter was located at 18.67 degrees North latitude and 74.732 degrees West longitude, i.e. at sea 4 km northeast of Abricot (Grand'Anse Department), 18km west of Jérémie (Grand'Anse Dept.), 154 km northwest of Petit-Goâve (West Dept.) and 210km West of Port-au-Prince (West Dept.) at a depth of 7 km.

No loss of life or damage has been reported so far by the Civil Protection in relation to this earthquake which has been slightly felt. "No damage reported at this time," says the Alliance for Risk Management and Business Continuity (AGERCA)
