Prime Minister : Promises without timetable

"I would like to reiterate my unshakeable will to do everything possible to restore a secure environment, to seek ways to strengthen our security forces, to set up a CEP that inspires confidence, in order to give the Haitian people a voice to elect its leaders freely. I pledge to launch with the HCT the process of revising the Constitution, to form a government of national unity and to work with the partners of the Consensus of December 21, 2022, with a view to expanding the composition of the HCT to include other compatriots," Acting Prime Minister Ariel Henry said.

French RAID trains SWAT in Haiti

Members of the French National Police RAID intervention unit are in Haiti for a period of one month to help train SWAT police officers. "The RAID will also train elements from units of the Intervention and Research Brigade (BRI), the Brigade for the Fight Against Vehicle Theft (BLVV) and the Office for the Fight against Drug Trafficking (BLTS). French cooperation favors the specialized units of the National Police of Haiti (PNH)," said Fabrice Mauriès, Ambassador of France to Haiti.

Participation of PM to "For a new Global Financial Pact" summit

Acting Prime Minister Ariel Henry is expected to attend the "For a New Global Financial Pact" summit from June 22-23. Representatives from more than 100 countries are expected to attend this meeting. The Prime Minister is expected to speak on Friday June 23.

Jovenel Moïse : Audition of Guichard Doré

Guichard Doré, the former special adviser to ex-President Jovenel Moïse, was heard last week by Judge Walter Wesser Voltaire. His hearing is part of the investigation into the assassination of the former head of state perpetrated on July 7, 2021. When he left the magistrate's office, Doré said he wanted the file Jovenel Moïse succeeds.
