Haiti - Politic : Towards the reform of the territorial public service (Video of the PM)

Acting Prime Minister Ariel Henry in his capacity as Acting Minister of the Interior opened a 2-day workshop on the reform of the territorial public service at the beginning of the week, organized at the Karibe hotel. This activity is part of the dynamics of strengthening the Local Public Service, for better administration of local authorities.

Ariel Henry, in his opening speech, pledged to do everything possible so that his government can play its part so that this reform of the territorial public service becomes a tangible reality and that the country finally knows local development.

According to the Prime Minister, this workshop, which is part of the "Local governance and territorial development" project, aims to ensure that all women and men in urban and rural communities in the country have access to decent basic services and diversified livelihoods.

Prime Minister Ariel Henry wants to give new impetus to the civil service reform process. He is determined to identify and put on the table for discussion all the difficulties that may hinder the course of this reform with the aim of making the territorial public service the basis of local power on which the development of the communes and communal sections will henceforth be based.
