Haiti - Education : Strengthening the integrity of official exams
As part of the initiatives adopted by the Ministry of National Education and with a view to strengthening the integrity of the official examinations and further preserving the interests of students and parents, it is recalled to the attention of all, that only teachers duly identified as such and authorized will be accepted, this year, as monitors, supervisors and correctors.

These teachers must be clearly identified by their Tax Registration Numbers (NIF), their National Identification Cards (CIN) and must give, at least, the address of a school where they actually work. The number of the Permit to teach can be provided, if applicable.

This measure aims to consolidate and enhance the teaching profession and to ensure that it is professional people who are involved in this process.

Contrary to certain recent practices, all recruited teachers must receive their personalized assignment letter in advance from the Departmental Education Directorates concerned.

The Ministry is counting on the understanding and support of the social partners, in particular, and of the educational community, in general, and invites the Departmental Directors of Education to be vigilant with a view to the application of this measure aimed at enforcing administrative and pedagogical standards for taking State exams.
