Haiti - FLASH : World Cup, the Grenadière Jennyfer Limage injured forfeited
The Haitian selection for the 9th FIFA World Cup 2023 will be forced to continue its journey to the Women's World Cup without defender #3 Jennyfer Limage (25) of Grenoble Foot 38 (France) out on a knee injury against England on Saturday after an action for control of the ball with the Briton Alessia Russo.

Her forfeit for the rest of the World Cup remains a blow for French coach Nicolas Delépine who will have to compose his defense at the Center against the Republic of China on Friday July 28, without this important part of his system...

Jennyfer Limage, after having had an MRI on Sunday, Dr. Alain Jean Jacques confirmed that it was a left knee injury to the meniscus with a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligaments which should in principle hold international defender Jennyfer Limage away from fields for at least 6 months. Specialist medical evaluations confirmed on Sunday that an operation will be required.

Should be noted that in 2019 Jennyfer Limage had already had a cruciate ligament rupture, at the time she was playing in Canada in semi-pro, at AS Blainville.

Jennyfer Limage, keeps her spirits up and promises on her Instagram page "We will come back stronger".
