Consulate of Haiti in Montreal closed

The Consulate General of Haiti in Montreal advises the public in general and the Haitian Community of Quebec in particular that its premises will be closed on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, on the occasion of Assumption Day. Consular services will resume on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

13th Gold Medal for Haitian Taekwondo (2023)

Haitian taekwondo player Gregory Jean-Baptiste won two medals. (A Gold medal and a Bronze medal) at the Truescore International Open & Team Trials (August 11-12) 2023 in Miami. Budget Conferences

As part of the work to prepare the 2023-2024 draft budget, the first day of budget conferences was held. These were technical conferences that brought together members of the credit analysis sub-committee, coordinators of the other sub-commissions, the heads of the administrative services and those of the Study and Programming Units of the sectoral ministries as well as the representatives of the other institutional categories responsible for drawing up the budget. The objective was to reconcile and analyze the proposals for operating credits and investments.

Cholera, silence of the Ministry of Public Health

It has been 18 days without explanation that the Ministry of Public Health has not published any data on the cholera situation in Haiti. The population can no longer follow the evolution of the epidemic in its area and take the necessary measures.
