Haiti - Insecurity : Faced with the terror of gangs, the PNH engages all its special units

Faced with the situation of terror caused simultaneously by several hotbeds of gangs in certain areas of the metropolitan region of Port-au-Prince and the department of Artibonite, including Savane Pistache, Caradeux, Vivy Mitchell, Solino, Tapage, Dumay, Lilavois, Morne à Cabri, Liancourt, La Croix Périsse, Moreau-Peigne, among others, which paralyzed the proper functioning of activities and the free movement of peaceful citizens the National Police of Haiti (PNH) took action.

Frantz Elbé Acting Director General of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) informs that several operations have been carried out in the aforementioned areas, to thwart acts of banditry and restore public peace and tranquility.

Furthermore, he informs the public that measures have been taken to mobilize all the personnel of the specialized units to strengthen the operational capacity of the police institution and intensify operations to dismantle gangs.

The PNH asks the population to remain vigilant and communicate in real time any information that can help the units engaged in the field to carry out more effective operations in order to put out of harm's way all these predators of public order.
