Haiti - Politic : The President Martelly met General Henry Namphy 16/10/2011 09:56:09
The Head of State, during a cordial meeting with Mr. Namphy invited him to return to his country and also informed the General, of his projet to gather around a table all the former leaders of the country through the establishment of a Council of Elders (Conseil des Sages), deploring the fact that for security reasons or other, a Haitian citizen can not live in its country. The former General President promised to the President Martelly, to think about his proposal. The Head of State proposes to meet, Lesly Francois Manigat (as soon as the health status of the latter will allow the holding of this meeting) and René Préval.
