Storm Franklin : more fear than harm

Tropical Storm Franklin has moved away from Haiti and no longer poses a direct threat to the country. As a result, the yellow alert decreed since Monday has been lifted by the authorities. Nevertheless, according to the Hydrometeorological Unit of Haiti, the rainy activities will continue in certain departments (Centre, West, South, South-East and Grand-Anse) until Thursday, August 24.
