Intervention in Haiti, vote at the UN

Strengthening Customs-Business Partnership

As part of the strengthening of the customs-business partnership and with the aim of contributing to the economic development of the country by promoting national production, a delegation from Haitian customs visited the HM Group and the BRANA S.A. company last week. During these visits, the managers of these companies greatly welcomed this initiative and took the opportunity to discuss with Customs the positive contributions of strengthening this partnership for the country.

Health : Training on Basic Life Support

As part of the partnership between the National Ambulance Center (CAN) and the State University of Haiti (UEH), three training sessions on "Basic Life Support" were organized for the benefit of 53 employees of the Hospital Peace University. Priority has been given to personnel assigned to the Emergency Department who, among other things, benefit from more advanced training on the “Advanced Cardio Life Support” module. It should be noted that among these participants, potential trainers capable of replicating the training for other members of staff have been identified. They will soon undergo training as trainers to enable them to better transmit the knowledge acquired.

PNH : New North-West Department Director

Divisional Commissioner Cétoute Clevens has been installed as the new Departmental Director of the North-West Police, replacing Louis Edner Hyacinthe, who is transferred to the Departmental Directorate of Grand'Anse.
