Haiti - Education : New promotion of the South Korean school Sae-A Group

Nearly 10 years ago, the South Korean clothing manufacturer Sae-A Group invested in the Haitian educational landscape by creating an S&H school and this year, the Group is celebrating a new class of 47 graduating students thanks to its comprehensive educational program.

Sae-A emphasizes that these graduates demonstrate the remarkable power of free, high-quality education offered over ten years, encompassing their entire educational journey, from elementary school to high school.

It further adds that among these graduates, 11 have managed to find employment, while 36 are ready to continue their studies in universities. In fact, last year, Global Sae-A claims to have launched internships for future graduates at Sae-A Trading's international branches for a "seamless transition into the company".

Lt's remember that a South Korean manufacturer, which employs more than 10,000 people in Haiti, opened a second school in 2017.

Attending this ceremony in person were Global Sae-A Chairman and school founder WK Kim, Global Sae-A CEO KM Kim, Haiti government officials, the director of the Regional Ministry of Education, as well as local community leaders, and international stakeholders connected virtually.

The Korean company believes that education is the catalyst for national development and the S&H school has become the cornerstone of the reconstruction process in 2023.

S&H schools offer free classes, books, supplies and lunches, a framework of distinction as Sae-A calls it that differentiates it from other institutions in Haiti and the only one with such an offer.

In addition, Global Sae-A partners with the international NGO CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) and its subsidiary "Ssangyong Engineering and Construction" have committed $8 million in humanitarian assistance which encompasses various initiatives, including funding for shelters suitable for displaced people the collaboration between these entities highlighting a determined desire to bring positive change to communities in need.
