Haiti - Crisis : Spain reiterates its participation in a multinational intervention mission in Haiti 26/09/2023 10:34:14
The Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albares, reiterated his support for Haiti and declared, at a press conference, that he is waiting for the Security Council meeting to clarify his contributions. He explained that the mission will likely last a long time because it is about "ensuring security and saving the country from gangs", and insisted that Spain is "one of the biggest donors" to Haiti. Last March, Albares declared that Spain was ready to be part of any formula aimed at supporting the Haitian people.
