On the occasion of his appearance at the investigating office, a few dozen of his supporters came to support him... Accompanied by Me Mario Delcy, one of his lawyers, they answered Judge Voltaire's questions for a little over 4 hours and were calm before and after his hearing. On his official account "X" (formerly Twitter) Martelly wrote "In respect of the law and the judicial authority of my country, I presented myself today before Judge Walther W Voltaire as part of the investigation on the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse. While complying with the secrecy of the investigation, I took the opportunity to express to the investigating magistrate my full support for the investigation; I also expressed my strong desire that justice can find and punish the culprits of this heinous crime. " Note that despite the numerous hearings of Judge Walter W. Voltaire (the 6th judge to hear this case since 2021), no person has been charged.
