Since the application of decree 668-22 which provides for the expulsion from Dominican territory of all foreigners in an irregular migratory situation, the number of expulsions of Haitians has increased considerably.

Repatriation August 2023:

Official border points:
Anse-à-Pitres, Belladère, Malpasse and Ouanaminthe
11,280 men
4,020 women
643 girls
445 boys

Unofficial border points:
Baptiste, Belladère (Rocher), Cornillon, Fonds-Verettes, Las Cahobas (Bateille), Savanette (Miguel)
3,680 men
1,954 women
702 girls
1,086 boys

For a total of Total 23,810

Added to this are 4,140 pushbacks at the border

To these repatriations we must finally add the so-called "voluntary" spontaneous returns which amount for the month of August 2023 to 21,590 Haitians.
