Haiti - FLASH : 4.2 earthquake in Artibonite

This Wednesday, November 15, 2023, an earthquake of magnitude 4.2 on the Richter scale was recorded at 3:02 a.m. and 10 seconds in the afternoon, near Saint-Michel-de-l'Attalaye (Dept. Artibonite),
The epicenter was located at 19.29 degrees north latitude and 72.29 degrees west longitude 10 km south-east of Saint-Michel-de-l'Attalaye (Dept. Artibonite), 46km south-east of Gonaïves (Artibonite Dept.), 77 km north of Port-au-Prince (West Dept.) at a depth of 11 km.
No loss of life or damage has been reported so far by Civil Protection in relation to this seismic shock which was slightly felt.
The day before, a magnitude 4.0 earthquake was felt in the Miragoâne region.
