Haiti - Economy : Deutsche Bank discusses of investment possibilities

Mr. Gary Hattem, Director of Deutsche Bank and member of the Presidential Investment Advisory Concil (PIAC) was in visit Haiti, on October 24-25, 2011. The Office of Communication of the Presidency has indicated that "During his visit, Mr. Hattem had met with the presidential team on the possibility of private investment with the Haitian banks, as part of real estate financing. This approach is intended to allow Haitians of all social classes to have access, in all departments of the country, at bank home loans at preferential rates. At the end of this successful business meeting, Mr. Hattem and the Presidential team, expressed their satisfaction and optimism about the realization of this ambitious project.
