On the night of Saturday 9 to Sunday 10 December 2023, units of the Haitian National Police carried out a muscular operation in the territory of "Nan Wòch" (3rd communal section of Tiburon) in the city of Les Cayes (South) a muscular operation in the territory of the "Ti-Rach" gang led by a man called "Ti Ofis".

During intense exchanges of fire between the Haitian National Police (PNH) and heavily armed individuals. This gang specialized in kidnapping, rape, armed robbery, looting and burning of houses...

After this violent and bloody dismantling of the "T-Rach" gang which sowed terror in the area, hundreds of jubilant residents took to the streets to demonstrate their joy at this victory.
