In this year of terror for more than one, where thousands of our brothers and sisters will not share this period of festivity, killed, injured, raped, kidnapped or who have lost all their property, members of their family, loved ones, friends, neighbors... Before celebrating, let's have a thought for all these families who have suffered, for all these bereaved people, for all the women and girls who have experienced violence, for all the children who do not have food every day and let's pray in silence so that this nightmare ends with the new year. Despite all our evils, life must continue to chase away the darkness and spread light again in the land of our ancestors. Let's keep hope for a better tomorrow. Remember that hope is the force that allows each of us to take a new step every day towards the rebirth of our beloved Haiti. The entire HaitiLibre team wishes all its readers from Haiti, the diaspora and around the world, its best wishes for the new year: Peace, courage, health, security, justice, work, patience and tolerance.
