The Port-Margot Police Station reopens after 10 years

The Haitian National Police (PNH) proceeded at the end of December 2023, after 10 years of closure... proceeded to the reopening of the fully rehabilitated Port-Margot Police Station (North Department) which had been vandalized and set on fire by members of the population on April 13, 2013.

Day of thanksgiving at the Palais de Delmas

Monday January 1st, 2024, Thanksgiving Day at the Municipal Palace of Delmas. Thousands of faithful gathered in the presence of the Mayor of Delmas, Wilson Jeudy, his deputy Rose Trinita Louis, town hall executives and pastors of certain large churches in the Commune, to express their gratitude to the Lord. Interception of Haitian migrants at sea

Last week, the USCG Cutter Confidence interrupted an illegal trip by Haitians to the United States aboard an overloaded boat in international waters near the coast of Haiti. The American Coast Guard accompanied the boat to the Haitian port, probably avoiding loss of life due to dangerous maritime migration.

Greetings from His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan

The President of the United Arab Emirates His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan sent a message of congratulations to Prime Minister a.i. Ariel Henry of the Republic of Haiti, on the occasion of his country's Independence Day. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Resident Presidential Court, sent similar messages to the Prime Minister Henry.

Under the leadership of the Haitian Youth Observatory (OJH) the "Jèn Yo La - Haiti" Consortium carried out the First Departmental Round Table of the Youth Network of the West department.
