Haiti - Social: 795,585 passports printed in 2023

The DIE received 90,000 requests per month, double of the figure of previous years with nearly 45,000 requests per month. For the year 2023 the 27 reception centers (including 11 in the metropolitan region) on the national territory received 912,042 requests (449,519 in 2002), for 874,920 files verified, 795,585 passports printed, the impressions are made exclusively at the Lalue office, and 728,596 delivered (300,461 in 2022).
The DIE has no shortage of booklets, in 2018, 3 million were ordered, of these 700,000 were used and the DIE placed a new order for 3 million booklets.
