Haiti - Education : 100 new schools ready for the new school year 2012

The Fund of Economic and Social Assistance (FAES) announced the construction of 100 schools "up to date", that will be ready for the new school year 2012. Recently the FAES made the presentation of the project in order to find partners for the construction of schools. Ducarmel François, director of social projects of FAES explains "...they must [partners, companies] know what we want to do, they must also know our budget, they need to know in which department of the country we will act, practice we will work on the 10 departments of the country and we must deliver as I said earlier more than 100 schools to the government."
Us at FAES, as an organization that fund projects, we do not execute, it means that we must identify the partners that help us to deliver the merchandise, we will analyze the various files that will be submitted to us [...] hrough the information provided we will see how to divide the companies by class of activities" says François.
Concerning the schools the director of FAES indicates that they will be complete and "up to date" "the schools that we will build will be complete schools, schools up to date, that means that it is a school which must be complete accoring to the standards of National Education, if there is a canteen there must be a equipped kitchen, we will put computer labs, libraries, we will arrange the course so that children can feel in a quality environment, for a school of quality and an education of quality..." states Ducarmel François, director of social projects of FAES.
