As announced, the Municipal Authorities are working closely with the Ministry of Public Works, the Police and the engineers and planning agents of the Town Hall of Cap-Haitien to identify all the houses that are built on the canals, near the canals and at the top of the hills so that they can be moved and can let water pass through without problem.

The inhabitants of these houses have a period of 15 days to move their houses, if they do not do so then the technicians will come and demolish them so that the water flows into the canals, so that it does not continue to invade the people below.

The authorities remind all those who built on top of the hills and who did not have authorization to do so, to start moving their houses without delay...
