Haiti - Economy : A business delegation in prospection in Brazil

This afternoon the Governor of Paraíba (Brazilian state located in the east of the region Nordeste) Ricardo Coutinho will receive a delegation of business people of Haiti. Will also be present representatives of the major entities of the business sector of the Brazilian region, as Fiep (Federation of Industries of Paraíba), CDL (Chamber of logistics managers), Fecomércio (Federation of trade in goods and services) Sinduscon - PB (Trade Union of Construction Industries of the State of Paraíba) and certain industries with an investment profile.
By the State Government will also be present at the meeting the President of the Society Docas, Wilbur Jacome ; the President of CINEP, Margaret Bezerra Cavalcanti ; the Secretary for Economic Development, Renato Feliciano and the Executive Secretary of Industry and Trade, Mark Procopio.
On the agenda a presentation on the opportunities and the business scenario of the country, the financing by the Inter American Development Bank (IDB) and the bilateral agreements between Paraíba and Haiti. "This meeting is the result of the trade mission to Cuba, when at the time the Governor Ricardo Coutinho met the Consul of Haiti [...] the missions of international relations are very important for attracting investment across countries. The Haitian delegation is interested to prospect the companies in Paraíba working in the field of export," declared Wilbur Jacome.
