Basketball 3X3 : Haiti’s remarkable leap in the world rankings
Haiti has made a remarkable leap forward in the world rankings of the International Basketball Federation (Fiba) published at the beginning of the month. In 115th place in April 2023, our Grenadiers are now 77th out of 178 countries (Feb. 2024 after consolidating the men's and women's rankings). In the men's category, Haiti is 84th out of 207 countries, while in the women's category, Haiti is 78th out of 167 countries.
Revolution : Guy Philippe will not back
During an interview on the Voice of America, former Senator-elect Guy Phillipe said he had identified the people involved in the deaths of the five members (https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-41641-haiti-news-zapping.html) of the Security Brigade for Protected Areas (BSAP). 13 Haitian thieves arrested in Dajabòn
13 Haitians without any identification documents were arrested during an operation by the Dominican National Police. They are accused of tying up a family from the Japanese community in Dajabòn province at their home, where they stole money and other goods. Several bladed weapons and six undocumented motorcycles were seized.
