Friday February 16, 2924, the "Zanmi Timoun Foundation" (FTZ) presented its report on the situation of children in 2023.

"The situation of children was very catastrophic in 2023, particularly in terms of : social, economic, security, food, migration and health," declared Manoach Presna, program manager at the Zanmi Timoun Foundation.

"Children were raped, kidnapped or killed during repeated attacks by armed gangs in several places in the country, access to the hospital was very difficult for the children," reports Besnard Félix, head of education programs. intervention and reintegration at the Foundation.

The Haitian Foundation recommends that the authorities concerned establish an effective child protection system and guarantee the safety of all children throughout the national territory.
